here are some of the virtues of
Abu-Talib (A.S) and the proof of his
Iman.
1. he was son of adul muttalib
who received wahyi about location of zam zam well
2. he was of legitmate birth and
so were all his ancestors
3. he was chief of bani hashim
4. he raised prophet in his own
house for 16 years
5. he cooked food for prophet
(s.a.w) for 16 years (thus being
tathir and not najis kuffar)
6. he preformed prophet (s.a.w) a
marriage to sultana-ul-ummul-
muminin wa mumina khadja r.a
7. he gave prophet (s.a.w) his
own son ali (a.s) to raise
8. he protected prophet for 47
years
9. he went into exile in valley of
abu talib with prophet (s.a.w)
10. ali ra said if my father did
interced for every sinner it would
be accepted
